About the Company

We are building financial products used by thousands of people, and quality is central to how the product earns and keeps user trust. The team operates in an AI-first engineering culture where modern tooling, including LLMs and AI-powered QA workflows, is part of how software is built, tested, and released. For engineers who care about reliability, product quality, and meaningful user impact, we offer the chance to help shape how quality is delivered from the ground up.

About the Role

We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer who is equally strong in manual testing and automated testing, and who is excited to work in an AI-first engineering culture. In this role, you'll have direct influence on the reliability, stability, and trustworthiness of features used by thousands of people managing their finances.

You will build robust automation suites, perform hands-on manual and exploratory testing, and leverage LLMs and AI-powered QA tools to accelerate test generation, detect risks earlier, and support faster, more confident weekly releases. This is a strong fit for someone who brings deep QA fundamentals, enjoys improving process and release quality, and wants meaningful ownership as part of an early engineering team.

What You'll Do

  • Perform manual, functional, regression, and exploratory testing across mobile and web
  • Build, maintain, and execute automated test suites to support fast, stable releases
  • Integrate Maestro automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) to run tests daily and report results automatically to Slack/team channels
  • Use LLMs and AI-powered QA tools for:
    • Intelligent test case generation
    • Auto-healing test scripts
    • Predictive failure detection
    • Faster debugging and triage
  • Work closely with engineers and PMs to identify risk areas and testing gaps
  • Create and maintain test documentation, defect reports, and QA dashboards
  • Lead QA process improvements and guide the team toward higher efficiency
  • Communicate product health, risk, and quality impact clearly across teams
  • Support weekly releases with rapid testing cycles and high responsiveness

Qualifications

  • Proficient in manual testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools (JIRA, Linear, etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of automation frameworks: Maestro, Appium, Selenium, or equivalents
  • CI/CD pipeline experience — ability to integrate automation scripts (Maestro) into CI/CD pipelines for scheduled daily test runs and automated reporting to Slack/team channels
  • Familiarity with AI-based testing platforms (Testim, Mabl, AutonomIQ, or similar), and willingness to adopt new AI tooling
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, test planning, and defect lifecycle management

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of end-to-end QA experience across manual and automation
  • Strong experience designing, writing, and executing both manual test cases and automated test suites
  • Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines with automated scheduling and reporting
  • Experience using AI/LLM tools to accelerate QA workflows — e.g., intelligent test generation, auto-healing, bug prediction, or LLM-assisted debugging
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of mobile and web testing methodologies
  • Experience working in consumer-facing, high-volume application environments
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills

What We Offer

  • Flexible working hours
  • Generous paid vacation
  • Work from home opportunity
  • Opportunity as one of our first engineering hires to take on significant responsibility and ownership in building a product that can change the lives of thousands
  • Annual team bonding trips to exciting destinations — from beaches in Thailand to jungles in Brazil
