About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who combines deep mobile expertise with strong cloud and frontend capabilities. In this role, you will lead the development and enhancement of the Mobile SDKs—the critical gateway embedded directly into client apps worldwide.
You will work at the intersection of native mobile development (Android/iOS), modern frontend interfaces, and high-throughput event-driven backend systems. You will take end-to-end technical ownership: from designing real-time data ingress/egress streaming architectures to maintaining high-availability production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobile SDK Engineering (primary): Build and enhance Mobile SDKs that enable enterprise clients to seamlessly embed streaming features into their native apps and interact with platform services.
- Frontend Development (secondary): Utilize modern Frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) to deliver performant, clean user interfaces.
- Serverless & Event-Driven Systems (supporting): Design, build, and operate serverless, event-driven architectures optimized for real-time data ingress and egress.
- Cross-Functional Architecture: Collaborate directly with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend Engineers to design scalable solutions capable of handling massive data traffic.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain, monitor, and optimize production systems, ensuring reliability through monitoring, alerting, and participating in on-call rotations.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong Mobile Development (top priority): Advanced proficiency with Android (Kotlin) and/or iOS (Swift) — or strong React Native experience including hands-on native module/SDK work (writing or bridging Kotlin/Swift code), combined with a demonstrated willingness to go deep into native development. Candidates from the React Native path will be trained on native development.
- Frontend Proficiency: Hands-on development experience with React (or React Native) and TypeScript.
- Cloud & Event-Driven Architecture: Working experience building and operating event-driven, serverless services on AWS (or comparable cloud providers).
- Problem-Solving & Innovation: Strong analytical mindset with a track record of taking complex features from concept to production.
- Communication: Business-level English, verbal and written; strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Mindset: Openness to feedback, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning — including a genuine appetite for deepening native mobile expertise.
Bonus Experience (Great to Have)
- Experience building robust, high-traffic service and high-throughput data delivery architectures.
- Experience designing monitoring and observability systems using tools like Datadog and AWS CloudWatch.
- Track record of building tools, libraries, or APIs for developer ecosystems.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to maximize engineering velocity.
- Prior experience working in remote-first environments or alongside multi-time-zone international teams.
